SecureCRT Keymap Editor

I'd like to map Insert to Shift-Insert. This way, when I want to open a URL in Lynx that has been put on my Windows clipboard, I can save an extra keystroke. Instead of g shift-insert, it will just be g insert. (By insert, I mean the top left key in the group between the alphabet keys and the number pad on my pretty standard Windows keyboard.)

Hi Frank,

Are you merely looking to map the 'Insert' key to paste the contents of the Windows clipboard?

If so, would mapping the key to 'Menu Function' 'MENU_PASTE' in the 'Mapped Keys' category of the Session Options dialog be an option for you?

If not, could you explain more about the need to map the 'Insert' key to exactly send 'Shift+Insert'?

Try mapping:

Insert to Send String with the value \v

Also consider the Global option:

Terminal->Paste on "right" (or "middle") button
