[Question]About Log-in Password in SecureCRT

Im goin to practice my cisco studies, but I cant log-in it says
% Authentication Failed.

My username is <redacted>
my password is <redacted>

Please help me.

It's not a good idea to post sensitive information like usernames and passwords to public forums -- even if they're just for practice. I've redacted your entries in case they were sensitive such that being on a public forum would be bad exposure for you.

If you're getting authentication failures, you're likely not typing in the correct username or the correct password or you don't know what the correct username and/or password is.

If you're able to authenticate successfully using another application, but you are not successful in SecureCRT, then it's likely that the remote device is advertising that it supports "password" as an authentication method, but it really only works with "keyboard-interactive". In that case, you should move keyboard-interactive to the top of the list of Authentication methods in your Session Options | SSH2 category and try your connection again.
