Tabs not changing color after terminal inactivity

I upgraded to:

Version 7.3.7 (x64 build 1034) - Official Release - February 25, 2016

In version 6-ish, the window tabs used to change color (from blue to green?) after five seconds or so of inactivity in the terminal window.

Now, the tabs stay blue unless I Ctrl-Tab through all of them to get them to change back to green.

Having the tabs change color for inactivity is VERY useful to me. Has this feature been removed? I've looked all over but I can't find it.

Brian

Hi Brian,

I am not sure of the "version 6-ish" behavior you are reporting. We released version 6.0.x, 6.1.x, 6.2.x, 6.5.x, 6.6.x and 6.7.x. Can you be more specific?

In version 6.5.x, for example, if configured to use background colors, blue indicated New Input and yellow indicated Inactivity. That is the same in v7.3.7. You can find that info in the Terminal / Tabs/Tiling category of Global Options.

Could the state change have been from green (connected) to yellow (inactive)?

This is likely because SecureCRT is receiving window resize requests sent by the remote system. This can be verified by enabling Trace Options in the File menu. Are you connecting to the same servers in v7.3.7 that you did with version 6-ish?

Once again you've proven stellar support!

I was looking in Options -> Global Options -> Edit Default Settings.

Indeed what I wanted is in Options -> Terminal -> Tabs/Tiling.

Thanks again!!
