Using grep in Secure CRT telnet session

I have a piece of equipment that I telnet into. on a Linux machine I can use terminal like the.......nc <ip> 1900 | grep PTD. This gives me a continual status output of what the equipment is doing. I don't see a way in CRT to tell it to grep that output without doing it in a log file than parsing the log file which is not an ideal way to do that. Do you have an suggestions for this?
