Aten UC-232A

Trying to use securecrt on new MBP... I have an aten UC-232A usb to serial converter. I went to ATEN's site and downloaded their software and installed it. Loaded up securecrt and went to start a serial connection. I do not see it in the list of items to connect with. System Profiler does show it under USB.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Brent

Hi Brent,

Thanks for the question. If you are not seeing the USB/Serial converter as an option in SecureCRT (/dev/cu....), then we suspect that the software used to install the device did not complete correctly.

Is any other software able to use the USB/Serial converter as it is currently installed?

Thanks for the reply Todd. You were correct. It was not installing properly. Neither does Apple's driver. For anyone else encountering this problem:
http://github.com/downloads/failberg...1-failberg.pkg

That link above fixes it!
