SecureFX - can we add seconds to date modified?

in SecureFX - can we add seconds (ideally second fractions also) to the "date modified" output of file details window?

Are you referring to the remote window?

If you view the files outside of SecureFX on that remote system, are the seconds visible?

SecureFX just displays whatever form of time/date is configured for display by the remote server (which usually honors the OS's date/timestamp configuration).

see my comments inline. The next question is are you able to SecureFX on Windows 10 to view seconds? If you can, then there's hope for me; but if not even you can do it, then I should prob give up trying.

are you sure its remote and not local? I am on windows 10 and just noticing all files in File Explorer do not include seconds.

In the logging pane (or if logging to a file), what format is the timestamp?

If you can post a log of the connection it will likely answer all three above questions.

You can configure logging to a file in the File Transfer / Options / Advanced category of Global Options. If you feel the log has sensitive data, you can always send it to support@vandyke.com (reference Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #13923).

Just curious if you have/know of a windows 10 machine where SecureFX is able to display seconds?

I was not ignoring your question, I just wanted to perform some tests.

This will be a feature request for SecureFX. I have created a feature request in our product enhancement database for the ability to display seconds in timestamps in folder/file tree view. Should a future release of SecureFX include this feature, notification will be posted here.

While I was able to configure Windows 10 to show seconds in the short time format (seconds are present by default in the long time format), this change was not reflected in File Explorer. I also could not find how to make File Explorer use the long time format. However, I don't think that would change what SecureFX displays presently anyway. Thus, the feature request.

I won't be surprised if this is not doable - my fear is it is a (silly) Windows limitation and that SecureFX is (wisely) reusing a windows-provided functionality and/or gui to display the file info.
