Question Is Zmodem's transfers supposed to be slower than SFTP, SCP, etc.?

Hello.

I noticed transferring files with Z-modem protocols (sz and rz commands in Linux's shell accounts), through SSH2 in SecureCRT, is slower than using SCP, (S)FTP, etc. Is this normal?

Thank you in advance.

Hi zhenxinfu,

Ant was using SecureCRT 3.4.x, a version that's over 15 years old.

What version of SecureCRT are you using? On what OS?

Please share the details of the issue you are experiencing. The symptoms, the exact steps to replicate, etc.

It's been my experience that rarely are two users having "the exact same issue".
