Run vbs script on secureCRT from another application

Hello Experts,

I know that its possible to run a vbs script from inside the secureCRT menu :
Script-->Run :Choose the vbs script.

My question is it possible to call this vbs script to run in the secureCRT from an another application(program).

To simplify, if I have an excel VbA macro that can open the secureCRT and paste commands I need into the secureCRT window, I need this macro to read the secureCRT output , for this point there is already a vbs script that can be run from CRT and it will read the output, what I need is to make the macro run this vbs script in secureCRT. Is it possible?

Thanks

Hi emohyaz,

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you want two scripts from two different programs to communicate with each other. If this is the case, it is not an easy problem to solve.

If I know more about your goal, it may be easier to help you find a way to accomplish the same end result, but use the complicate method of inter-script communication.

Can you tell me more about your goal?

Is the end goal to get the data from SecureCRT and write it into an Excel spreadsheet?
