Exclamation SecureFX crashes when renaming a local file

Running SecureFX 8.3.1 (bundled with SecureCRT 8.3.1) on 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise.

I'm experiencing an issue where renaming a local file within SecureFX immediately causes it to crash.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open SecureFX and then click "View|Local Window" to bring up a local window on your PC.
2) Navigate to any directory and attempt rename any file. For the purposes of this test, I created a simple text file at C:\temp\test.txt and attempted to rename it to "test2.txt" by right-clicking and selecting the "Rename" option.
3) SecureFX immediately crashes and a dump file is generated. A pop-up window is displayed with the following contents:
Code:
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
SecureFX experienced a fatal error and must close.
A crash dump file has been created in:

C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Roaming\SecureFX.dmp

Please submit a bug report to VanDyke Software, Inc. technical support using the following URL:

http://www.vandyke.com/feedback.php

You will receive instructions on how to send the crash dump file. (The contents of this message can be copied using CTRL+C and included in the bug report.)

Expected results:
SecureFX should just be able to rename any local file without crashing.

Can anyone else reproduce and confirm this issue?

Thanks!

Hi habs,

I am sorry to hear that SecureFX is crashing on you!

I was not able to recreate the crash with the given steps.

We would like to investigate this behavior further and obtain a crash dump file from you.

Can you please send an email to support@vandyke.com with the subject "Forum Thread# 12948".

Please include the email address that is associated with your Vandyke Software account so that I can enable your account for uploading.
