pop up with input in python

Hi

I need a pop up box that will list
a b c d e

then prompt for one of the options -
if i input a b c d e
continue and assign it to a variable to use during the entire loop.

if it is not an option listed ... continue to prompt or escape the script.

I saw how to do this in vbs .. but cant find how to do it in python.

Can you specify the link to the VBS script you're referencing that showed you how to do it in that language?

If that example uses IE to draw a customized interface, then you're out of luck using python -- there's no COM/ActiveX interface there.

Are you using python because you're not on Windows, or because that's what you're more familiar with?
