Question Filter box searching.

I have this problem of needing to update session settings on various different connections of different types.

Does the "Filter by session name" box have any sort of regular expression or operators in the search terms that can be used?

Let's say I wanted all sessions that did NOT contain ABC in the title...

I tried things such as

!ABC : Logical Unary operator
NOT ABC : SQL
(?!ABC) : Regex

and none of them worked

I'd like to put a formal request for more complex search functions in the filter box, perhaps even searching the "description" field for each connection?

Even considering colorizing valid searches (like Wireshark) and allowing for multiple stacked operators..

Keep up the great work!

Hi garrettskj,

The functionality that you desire is not currently available with SecureCRT.

I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to implement regex support for the Session Manager filter. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this functionality, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #13438" in the subject line.
