Cluster SSH support

Have been using SecureCRT on and off for well over a decade, one thing I'd really like to see is the ability to open a group of sessions at once, make them all active, and have real-time control over all of them through a single command window.

As I understand it, there is a feature like this at the moment, but the command line isn't updated in real time - one sends a string of commands at once. But if I wanted to edit the same file across multiple nodes at once, ClusterSSH[*] is ideal for this as each window will be updated at once in real time as I type (give or take a bit of latency) based on input from a single command window.

If SecureCRT could handle something like that, it'd be fantastic.

Hi movielad,

I believe that SecureCRT offers the functionality you're looking for with a combination of features in the Command Window.

You will first want to enable the Command Window (View > Command Window)

You can then right click in the Command Window and choose Send Commands to > All Sessions.

To have each character sent immediately instead of a full line you will then want to right click in the Command Window and choose Send Characters Immediately.

Once you have enabled these options you won't even see what you type in the command window... it simply acts as a transparent input mechanism to all your connected hosts in the same SecureCRT window.

Does this provide the behavior you're looking for?

That is exactly what I wanted! I hadn't been right-clicking enough, it seems!

Thank you! You've made me an extremely happy customer!
