Question SFXCL.exe

Following is the code I am using to upload the file. But for some reason I am not able to.
The host server wants the file without extension and the name should be 8 character long. Any suggestion or help will highly appreciated.
Thanks

SFXCL.exe /DefaultType binary /Log "c:\Temp\joblog.txt" /Overwrite older /RetryCount 3 /RetryDelay 5 "c:\temp\GARDNSTL" sftp://GARDN: password@ftp.test.iconnectdata.com:10022

Hello,

Would you be able to send the SFXCL log file (joblog.txt) to support@vandyke.com with a subject of forum thread 2245?

The log file will provide specific details about the problem, and may contain sensitive information so it should not be posted to a public forum.

It looks like there are a couple of syntax problems:
  • space between the username and password shouldn't be there
  • no destination path, including no filename on the server
You will need to include a path for the server, and if you need to change the filename from the name it has locally, then you need to specify the new filename as part of the destination.

Is the actual name of the local file "GARDNSTL", or does it have a filename extension?

I think the following command would be closer to what you're needing as the sfxcl command.

SFXCL.exe "c:\temp\GARDNSTL" sftp://username:password@hostname:10022//path/filename

The "path" in the command above should be replaced with the path on the destination server where you want to place the file.
