SecureCRT 5.x - color scheme not working

Hi

I am trying to set the color scheme to "Current color scheme : Green text on black" however the text is white on black and does not change.

I can write ANSI codes to manually display colors within my terminal however I can't understand why this setting does not work.

Colors within VIM using syntax highlighting also work fine.

I have a similar setting when I use the Tectia SSH client which works fine.

I took a very brief look at the forum history and did'nt find a solution.

My specs are :

I am using SecureCRT 5.04 build 1065.

TERM=xtermc

Solaris 8/10

Bash 3.00.16(1)

Windows XP.

Thanks
Darren

Hi Darren,

Thanks for posting this question. Versions of SecureCRT prior to 5.5.x do not support the simultaneous use of Color Scheme's and ANSI color.

Does this help to clarify why you are seeing this behavior?

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know.

Can I update from Version 5.0.4 (build 1065) to 6.6.1 with the same site license key ?

Also I don't understand what the integrated and non-integrated SecureCRT actually mean. What is the difference and how do I determine this from my current SecureCRT client ?

Hi Darren,

Thanks for the question. You can find upgrade eligibility information at the following location (determined by purchase date):

Does this help to answer your question?

If you need further assistance, please send an email to support@vandyke.com with a subject of Attn: Todd - Forum thread 6533, and include the serial number for your copy of SecureCRT.
