Paramiko Client - VShell V3 and V4

Hi Support,

We use Paramiko client to do our downloads, our old Version 3.6.5 (x64 build 615) Oct 2010 work perfectly with the MAX_REQUEST_SIZE of 32768, in resume as expected, no issues.

Since we upgrade to Version 4.2.3 (x64 build 1188) Sep 2016 our downloads are broken with "There are insufficient resources to complete the request", one way to solve this client sided is to change the MAX_REQUEST_SIZE to 512 but the question is if there is any way to make this work server sided?

We tried to change the session window size / max packet / buffer and import the settings but no success, what changed from version 3.6.5 to 4.2.3 that disrupt Paramiko prefetch?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi tjdcdd,

I am sorry to hear about the issue that has occurred. This is an issue our developers are investigating. They have made a change in a pre-release build of VShell that should resolve the issue.

Please send an email to support@vandyke.com and reference "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #12653" in the subject line.

Please also include the email address linked to your download account (if not writing us from that email address).

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I will send an email straight away since this is affecting our production environment and by audit purposes we need to have our software updated.
