Question Basic Keymapping Question

I'm new to keymapping, and what I'm trying to do seems simple enough, but the host doesn't like something. I'm trying to map a key (Scroll/Lock) to send a string comprised of a UNIX alias ('pp' which executes 'ps -fu userid'), followed by a carriage return (\r) and also ring the bell (\007). I'm ok with the first two, but can't figure out how to add the bell without getting an error. Actually, the bell isn't really the point, though. I'm trying to figure out how to combine 2 or more UNIX commands on a single mapped key. On the UNIX command line, the individual commands would be separated by a semi-colon. I tried using that character, tried using octal values, tried inserting a \r between the two pieces, and probably some other things I no longer recall. I went searching for documentation, but found nothing that helped. I scoured these forums and didn't find anything that addressed this particular problem. Is there more detailed documentation on the 'send string' (and other) functions? If there is, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have uploaded a window shot of the Map Select Key window, showing the commands it sounds like you want to run. If that doesn't help, can you send e-mail to support@vandyke.com containing a window shot of the what you mapped, and a log file or window shot showing what was sent and any error messages you received?

If you send e-mail, please refer to forum thread 10681.
