Log session in different folders (same folder as session)

Currently I have several sessions grouped into different folders.

As far as I saw.
%S = Session Name (without folder)
%??? = Folder Session Name

________/%which?/%S
Sessions/Group_a1/Host_A
Sessions/Group_a1/Host_B
Sessions/Group_a1/Host_C
Sessions/Group_a2/Host_A
Sessions/Group_a2/Host_B
Sessions/Group_a3/Host_B

I would like to know how I can include a folder in the path, resulting...

The idea is that it is the Logs into a subfolder (LOGS) inside of config_path

${VDS_CONFIG_PATH}/Config/ %W_H_I_C_H /LOGS/%S-%Y%M%D%h%m.log

Thanks

Hi nomademc,

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database to add a new substitution parameter to indicate the path to the session's subfolder for logging purposes (%F). Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #12244" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.

A new substitution parameter %F has been added that can be used to specify the session's subfolder in a log filename. This has been implemented in a pre-beta version of SecureCRT. If you'd like to try it, please send email to me at Maureen.Jett@vandyke.com.
