underscore "_" not showing in 7.0.0(295)
the underscore character is not showing in the terminal.
I'm setup with Courier 12pt. Emulation is xterm with ANSI color. so the following tac_pwd is displayed as tac pwd |

Hello adudek,
Thanks for the report. This issue is fixed in the beta 3 release of SecureCRT for Mac OS X. The SecureCRT 7.0 beta 3 build is currently available here.

That is a negative.
It is not fixed. Running 7.0.0 (build 307) and I still see "_" as a " " Aaron |

Hello Aaron,
That's odd, we cannot replicate that behavior internally. Would you send the session's .ini file to support@vandyke.com (Default.ini if making an ad hoc connection)? Session .ini files (and Default.ini) are stored in the configuration folder. The location of your installation's Configuration folder is found in the General category of SecureCRT's Global Options. Please include the Global.ini file from the config folder. Also, if possible, a screenshot showing the missing underscore in your environment. Please include "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #10508" in the subject line.

Hmm. I'll have to apologize as I am not seeing an issue right at this second. Let me see if it was a specific host or method.
sorry. Aaron |

Ok. I have recreated the problem.
I ssh to server 1. Then ssh to server 2 and I see the issue. I see _ as " " ie. tac_pwd is seen as tac pwd. update: I just ssh to server 1 and I see the issue. I will send you the relevant info. |

Hi Aaron,
I received the screenshots and have reopened the bug report. I will post in this thread, in addition to responding to the e-mail, when I have further news.

This issue still exists with the Official Release.
Again still using courier 12pt font. |

Hi adudek,
That is correct. As mentioned previously, when there is something new to report on the status of the underscore issue, we will post in this thread.

Hello all,
The development team returned to the drawing board on this issue. We now believe the "missing underscores" issue is resolved in a newer build. If you are interested in receiving the information to download the new build, please send an e-mail to support@vandyke.com and include "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #10508" in the subject line. If contacting us through an e-mail account other than the one used to create your download account, please advise us of the download account e-mail address. If you do not have a download account, we can create one and then you will need to complete registration before downloading the new build.

It seems to be fixed. I've tried the current release 7.0.0(326) and this one and it is fixed in this one.
