Some fareast character encoding presets missed

I have some servers which terminal charset is set to fareast code page (such as GB2312 (936), BIG5 (950), Korean (949) and Shift JIS (932)), but I can't find them in Appearance -> Character encoding. It would be nice if you could add them.

Thank you.

Hi bigbang,

Thanks for the requests. I have created feature requests in our SecureCRT development database on your behalf to add these encodings to SecureCRT for Mac OS X. Should they be added in a future release, we will post to this thread.

If you would like to be notified directly, please complete and submit the form at the following location:

This functionality has been added to a pre-beta version of SecureCRT. If you would be interested in trying it, please send e-mail to support@vandyke.com with a subject of Attn: Todd - Forum thread #6625.
