7.0.0 236 Maximize from dock

I have minimize to dock enabled in dock preferences. Now, whenever I minimize (cmd + m) securecrt, I can't click the icon to maximize it. It just ignores the request. If i right clock and click show all, it shows up in the (I believe) hidden expose/dock area and does let me click it. lion. Fresh install a few days ago.

edit: lion

Hello kyleo,

Thanks for posting. I'm having a difficult time trying to reproduce the behavior you describe so I'd like to get more information.

Can you describe the steps to set this? I've searched my Snow Leopard preferences and don't see minimize to dock anywhere. The closest option I believe I see is Minimize windows into application icon.

There is a known issue that when multiple instances of SecureCRT are minimized to the dock, right clicking the app in the Dock doesn't display the instances. Does that sound like what you're experiencing?

If not, is there any way to take a window shot, screen shot, or movie, demonstrating the problem you're describing?

You can send window/screen/movie shots to support@vandyke.com with subject Forum 10582 Attn Mike.

I am having the same issue, it was introduced in 7.X. I have to right-click on the App in the Dock and and choose Show All Windows to restore the window to my display. Let me know if you would like more info to help get this resolved.

Hello cwallace,

Can you send window/screen/movie shots to support@vandyke.com with subject Forum 10582 Attn Mike?

For example, QuickTime has a built in screen recording function. In this case it would be very helpful if you could show what you're experiencing that would help us verify whether we understand the issue.

Thanks cwallace! The video demonstrated what you and kyleo reported. I'm able to reproduce the same behavior. I've created a bug report and notified our developers. We'll post a follow up message to this forum thread when a solution is available.

If anyone else experiences this problem and would like to receive e-mail notification of a solution, please let us know and refer to forum thread 10582.

Hello Everyone,

A fix has been confirmed by customers who had reported the problem. SecureCRT 7.0.1 official release (and newer) should no longer exhibit the problem.

For anyone wanting to try the fix now, ahead of official release, there is a pre-release version we can make available for those who request it.

Please let us know if you'd like to try the pre-release, and refer to forum thread 10582.

Awesome thanks.

Sorry I could not get a video capture due to privacy concerns on a system that is not owned by me.

Hi kyleo,

No problem regarding video - your original post contained enough information that in hindsight I believe I should have been able to see the problem.

I'm glad you saw the post / notification of bug fix.

Let us know if you're interested in trying the pre-release!

Mountain Lion. Secure CRT 7.0.0 internal build 359 (8/7/12)...

Maximize works now. I've only used it for about 10 minutes now but no problems yet.
