YubiKey NEO support in SCRT
Does anyone know if secureCRT supports the YubiKey NEO with openpgp?
If so can you provide a pointer to the help file or instruction? -- Dan |

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the post. How is it that you would like to use your YubiKey NEO and openpgp with SecureCRT? |

I have a yubikey neo that I have configured openpgp keys on. I have the ssh-rsa key from the token and would like to be able to use securecrt to access a server using the private/public open pgp key pair.
I can do this now with safenet etoken and pkcs11 by using "capi::rawkey::my" in the public key section of the ssh configuration. I know that openPGP and the yubikey will not load the capi with the keys so I expect to have to do something different with the yubikey than I have done with the etoken. However in the end I want to be able to plug the yubikey into a USB port, open securecrt and log into a server with ssh... doing two factor auth to the server... |

Hi Dan,
It looks like Yubikey doesn't support x.509 or PKCS11, so I am not sure how you would use it with SecureCRT. I have created a feature request in our SecureCRT enhancement database to add support for Yubikey Neo and OpenPGP. Should we add support for this in the future, we will post to this forum thread. If you would like to be notified directly, please complete and submit the form at the following location: Submit Feature Request |
