CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application") error

This line of Code:
Set g_objIE = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
is in a function that gets called multiple times to display data output
in an IE window, i.e. HTML formatted data.

The first time it is called, the IE window opens and displays the result.
Subsequent calls, however, only work when the previously displayed IE
window remains open for a relatively short duration, e.g. < 1 minute.
If one of the IE pop-up windows is left open for several minutes, the
next call to CreateObject() gives an error at the above line. So as long
as the user promptly closes each IE window displaying data results, it
works fine. As soon as they fail to promptly close an IE window, the
next call to CreateObject fails.

Any idea why? Is this a WIndows issue? All users are on Windows 10.

This is not a SecureCRT issue. It is a Windows issue that you will need to resolve with your IT admin staff working in conjunction with your MS support representative(s).

SecureCRT cannot force the Internet.Explorer COM object interface to be available. SecureCRT is merely asking the VBScript engine to make the call, and then reporting to you the results of the call returned via the VBScript engine.
