SecureCrt for Ubuntu - Toolbar missing
Hello,
I have installed the latest Secure CRT (as of 08/03/2012) and am missing the toolbar menu. This is on Ubuntu and NOT on Windows. How do I bring back the toolbar menu. I already tried uninstalling and re-installing, but did not work. Thanks, |

Hi George,
The toolbar is enabled from the View menu. If the menu bar is disabled, use Alt+M to enable it. If you want to map a key combination to toggle the toolbar, you can do so in the Terminal / Emulation / Mapped Keys category of SecureCRT's Session Options. This tip on our website explains how you can use Default Session to apply that key mapping (if desired) to all sessions and/or the default session. The menu function is MENU_TOGGLE_TOOLBAR. See the attached example.

just in case anyone ended up here after a web search
if you are not local and need to change this you can edit the Global.ini file Usually found here $HOME/.vandyke/SecureCRT/Config/Global.ini and change the line D:"Show Menu Bar"=00000000 to D:"Show Menu Bar"=00000001 |
