xterm OSC escape sequences

Any chance of updating the xterm emulation to include support for OSC escape sequences?

For example; this sequence will change the background to blue:
Code:
echo -e "\033]11;#000044\007"

Hi JayGuerette,

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

Changes in SecureCRT 8.0 (Beta 1) -- January 28, 2016 (8.0.0.1011)
-----------------------------------------------------

New features:

  • Added support for Xterm OSC escape sequences to change background and foreground colors.

It's documented in the SecureCRT Help topic Terminal Emulation Settings / Escape Sequences / Xterm Escape Sequences.

I am not sure you are using "RgbSpec" though. I think that should be rgb:RR/GG/BB.

Using 8.0.4.

#000044 works in xterm, but I see rgb:00/00/44 also works, and works in SCRT as well.

Thanks!
