how to make horizontal scroll bar work?

So I have a tool which outputs some longer lines. I changed my config to have more columns and switched off line wrap. At this point only the beginning of the long lines show as expected. All good so far...

However, there are two problems:

Problem #1: How to scroll right to see the rest of the lines?

If I enable the horizontal scroll bar then it appears but it's completely white and clicking anywhere on it does nothing :-( How to make it work?

Problem #2: How to make the horizontal scroll bar only appear for that window?

I tried generally disabling the horizontal scroll bar for all windows and only enabling it in for profile for the one window... but unexpectedly the horizontal scroll bar does not appear when I switch to the wide window. Is this a bug or how can I get it to work?

Thanks!

Hello SimonHF,

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

What is the Mac OS?

For problem #1, what is the On resize configuration (Session Options / Terminal / Emulation category)? (Scrolling to the right would only be possible if Retain size and font is configured.)

If that fixes the issue and you need to change the On resize configuration in many (or all) sessions, see these tips on our website:

I do not understand the above statement.

The horizontal scroll bar is associated with an *instance* (application window) of SecureCRT.

Do you have multiple instances of SecureCRT (application windows) running?

Or do you have multiple tabs opened in one instance of SecureCRT?

Can you post a screenshot that illustrates what you mean?
