Recv : Userauth_failure

I am running SecureFX 8.5 currently. I am able to ssh into the Cisco switch in question but unable to connect via SecureFX. I have glossed over previous posts about session and global settings to tweak and I am still having issues. SCP is configured correctly on the Cisco switch.

i RECV: SERVICE_ACCEPT[ssh-userauth] -- OK
i Authenticating as user xxxx
i RECV : USERAUTH_FAILURE, continuations [publickey,keyboard-interactive,password]

Hi bjaegs,

We will need to see the entire log. What you have posted does not show any error. It is a normal part of the SSH/SFTP process. The client sends an authentication request of None:

And then the remote responds with the authentication methods it supports. (Those are the methods listed in the brackets.)

i RECV : USERAUTH_FAILURE, continuations [publickey,keyboard-interactive,password]

You can configure logging to a file in the File Transfer / Options / Advanced category of SecureFX's Global Options.

If you don't wish to post it in the public forums, please send to support@vandyke.com and reference Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #14403 in the subject line.
