SecureCRT TFTP Server Issues

TFTP both get & put not working

Simply trying to put a file from Microsoft TFTP client with

tftp -I 172.20.87.193 put “chart.pdf”

Thu Jan 31 17:01:04 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,A request with an opcode of 2 was received by server.
Thu Jan 31 17:01:04 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,The TFTP transfer of chart.pdf was started successfully.
Thu Jan 31 17:01:12 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,Transfer of chart.pdf from 172.20.82.10:51635 failed, partially received file has been deleted.
Thu Jan 31 17:01:12 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,A request with an opcode of 2 was received by server.
Thu Jan 31 17:01:12 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,The TFTP transfer of chart.pdf was started successfully.
Thu Jan 31 17:01:20 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,Transfer of chart.pdf from 172.20.82.10:51635 failed, partially received file has been deleted.
Thu Jan 31 17:01:20 2019,6908,172.20.82.10:51635,Illegal TFTP operation.

See the file appear in the directory then it is deleted.

Have similar experience with get commands where transfer starts then fails.

Please help with TFTP server

Hello mrh89,

What version of SecureCRT is installed?

On what platform?

This error typically indicates that a firewall is blocking the TFTP operations. If you make an exception in the firewall for TFTP, what are the results?
