Feature Request: More Robust 'Prompt' send delay option

I was watching the video referenced here: https://forums.vandyke.com/showthread.php?t=11849

I really liked how it said that I could use the 'prompt' option to control how data is pasted into SecureCRT.

There's been many times that'd I've tried to paste in 50 lines of text (for example) and things were great up until line 30.... after that, the text got off/characters were dropped and everything went to pot.

Would it be possible to enhance this a bit, perhaps with RegEx, so the prompt can be more than a single string? For example, I'd like it to be able to be aware of both the default Cisco prompt that ends with ">" and the enable prompt that ends with "#".

Hi Casey,

This does seem possible. I am just not sure how probable it is. I have created the feature request. We will post here if it is added.

In the meantime, this is where scripting works beautifully.

You could use the WaitForStrings() method and have multiple prompts that might appear.

You could also use the example that uses the echoed line for flow control:

Do these options sound like they might work for you?
