Special Caret @ characters when pasting
Hello all,
I'm attempting to paste in commands from my serial connection to my Cisco switches. After I paste one line in, I get a caret@ (the caret symbol and @ symbol) symbol, which is causing me some issues. Does anyone know what this is and how to disable it? It only happens with the serial connection. I'm using Windows 10, SecureCRT 8.5.4 and the Bluetooth Airconsole LE for my console connection. |

Hi shameergrewal,
I certainly would not appreciate having unwanted characters in my output! Let's see if we can get to the bottom of it! What character encoding do you have set for your serial session? (Options > Session Options > Terminal > Appearance)

Hi shameergrewal,
It would be helpful to see a screenshot of the SecureCRT window when the issue occurs, as well as an example of what you are pasting into the terminal window. Can you please send an email to support@vandyke.com with "ATTN: Brittney, Forum Thread #13948" in the subject field? Please attach the requested data with your message!
