PKCS11 Pubkey Auth

Hi,

I've just tried to use my smartcard device with SecureCRT for PubKey Auth just as i use to do in Windows.

In Windows I use the following command under "Options -> Global Options -> SSH2 -> Public Key -> Use Identity or certificate file" :

Code:
pkcs11key::prov=C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\eTPKCS11.dll
As I tried to migrate that to OSX I used the same

Code:
pkcs11key::prov=
with the library from Safenet

Code:
/Library/Frameworks/eToken.framework/Versions/8.0.0.6/libeToken.dylib
but all I get is "No such file or directory".

Is there a way to do that just like I do in Windows ?

Best regards

Marcus

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for the question. This functionality is not currently implemented/supported in SecureCRT for Mac OS X. I have created a feature request in our SecureCRT development database to add the ability to use a smart card/certificate for authentication. Should a future release of SecureCRT have this functionality, we will post to this forum thread. If you would like to be notified directly, please complete and submit the form at the following location:

Support for authentication using smart cards (PKCS#11) on the Mac has been added to a pre-beta version of SecureCRT. If you'd like to try it, please email me at Maureen.Jett@vandyke.com.
