SecureCRT Command Windows - Pass Parameters

Is it possible in the Command Window to pass parameters / variables.

It would be nice to be able to compose a command and send to all connected session but each session would get the individual adjusted parameter / variable.

Have a tab in the Session object for custom parameters and it associated value.

Session 1
Site_Number = 3

Session 2
Site_Number = 6

Session 3
Site_Number = 9

object-group network Site-Admin-Network

So, when the command is sent to all the sessions "{Site_Number}" is replaced with the correct Session parameter.

Hi atchinson.

It isn't currently possible to use variables like that in
the command window. I have created an entry for you in our
feature request database. We will post something here
should a version of SecureCRT become available with the
ability to use variables. If you would like to be informed
via e-mail, please send a message to support@vandyke.com
referencing this forum thread.

To achieve what you are wanting, you would probably need to
use scripting instead of using the command window. There
are some scripting references, including our VBScript
scripting manual on the following web page:
