Proportional Fonts in SecureCRT

Hi,

I would very much like to use proportional fonts in SecureCRT. To the best of my understanding currently SecureCRT only supports monospaced fonts. Is there a possibility of having this ability included in future versions of SecureCRT?

It would be much valued and highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Walter

Hi Walter,

I have added a request to our feature request database for an option to be added to SecureCRT to allow Proportional font to be used.

If this option is added to any future release of SecureCRT, we will make a post here.

If you would prefer to be contacted via email, please send me a message and add a note that this is related to forum thread (2770).

Hi Teresa,

I've recently purchased SecureCRT 6.0. Even I am very interested in using non-monospaced fonts in SecureCRT. I would be very happy if I am able to use fonts like Tahoma, Verdana, Segoe UI. Nothing beats their usability at small sizes.

I had communicated with Ryan (from SecureCRT) regarding this before purchasing SCRT. Will it be possible for you to provide me with a test build or something with the ability to use these fonts?

Thanks,
Sachin

Edit: Please feel free to contact me via email should it be more convenient.

Hi Sachin,

The option to use non-monospaced fonts is not available currently in any build of SecureCRT.

If it does become available, we will contact you to let you know.
