Hello sinbad,

I am not sure exactly what you are asking about.

Are you referring to the behavior in which CRT will close a tab when the session is disconnected?

If so, if you disable the 'Close on disconnect' option in the 'Terminal' category of the Session Options dialog are you able to see the behavior you desire?

If not, can you explain in greater detail what behavior it is you are looking for?

hi,
when i don't use a session for sometime , i am getting the following output
"timed out waiting for input: auto-logout" and the connection terminates. I remember long time back somewhere in secure crt i've enabled this option.I couldn't find the option to disable it now.

thanks
sinbad

Hi sinbad,

I believe I understand what is happening now. If my understanding is correct, the remote machine is disconnecting SecureCRT after being idle for some specified amount of time.

To avoid this, you can enable the 'Send protocol NO-OP' in the Terminal category of the Session Options dialog.

if you enable this option, and adjust the time increments based on the server's configured time-out length, are you able to avoid the disconnect?
