Custom menu support for tabs

A while back, jasonbrent posted the following:

Quote:
MENU Configuration Functionality

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would like to request MENU_TAB_LIST1 to go along with MENU_WINDOW_LIST1...

Basically a tab equivalent of this menu section:

Code:
POPUPMENU "&Window"
MENUITEM "&Previous", "MENU_WINDOW_PREV"
MENUITEM "&Next", "MENU_WINDOW_NEXT"
MENUITEM "Close Al&l", "MENU_WINDOW_CLOSE_ALL"
SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "&1 Window 1", "MENU_WINDOW_LIST1"
END
Thus:

Code:
POPUPMENU "&Tabs"
MENUITEM "&Previous", "MENU_TAB_PREV"
MENUITEM "&Next", "MENU_TAB_NEXT"
MENUITEM "&Rename", "MENU_TAB_RENAME"
MENUITEM "&Close", "MENU_TAB_CLOSE"
SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "&1 Tab 1", "MENU_TAB_LIST1"
END

Currently I can use MENU_TAB_1 through _0 but "Tab 1" appears vs. the current tab name plus the obvious lack of dynamicness.

(Note that this request isn't for it to be in the default menu file, just the functionality added.. hopefully with some blatant message upon installation that says 'hey idiot, we added this for you, go back and enable it.' )

Thanks,

-jbl
The forum where this was posted got corrupted, so I'm starting a new thread instead of replying to the original post.

This functionality has been added to the next version of SecureCRT, which is in pre-beta testing. If you'd like to try it, please send an e-mail to me at Maureen.Jett@vandyke.com.
