Same problem as Vicz1975

If you are attempting to perform the initial connection to the Telnet server, you would need to use "crt.session.connect" or "crt.session.ConnectInTab" and then provide the IP, protocol and authentication as necessary.
I am having same problem as vickz1975.
Error: Screen.Send: not connected

File:vbscript.vbx
Line: 60
I am running secure CRT from the secure host. I do RDP connection to the secure host and run the script in the secure host. I have only Telnet connection for the devices and in device_list.

Any help will be great.

Hello foysol_bgd,

It sounds like your script expects SecureCRT to be connected.

Are you connecting to some remote server/device before running the script?

If not, as with vickz1975, you will need to use the Connect methods available to the Session object to connect via the script.

See the SecureCRT Help Topic Scripting / Script Objects Reference / Session Object for more information on the syntax for the Connect and ConnectInTab methods.

There are also some VBScript examples.

Script runs slow and does not move to second device

Hi Gus
I tried your script which works great with SSH which i have been struggling with for days. However i encountered a couple of issues which I hope someone can help with.
When i start the script it works fine but then after a while the output form the switch is really slow. It also stops after the final output of the first switch and does not move on to the next switch in the device_list file.
I have the file set out as below;
1.1.1.1:SSH
x
x
x
There are around 18 devices in the list
Is there a way to have the file output with the switch host name and not the IP?

I noticed that the file output is cut off around the same lines as the switch begins to slow down. Is there a way to slow done the write to the txt file.

Thanks in advance for the great script
