Question Uploading 2+ GB files shows negative numbers in SecureCRT v3.4.8?

Hello.

How come uploading huge GB single files (2 GB, 4 GB, etc.) shows negative values in SecureCRT v3.4.8? See http://i.imgur.com/6zEWVCF.gif for a screen shot/capture example from my very old, updated Windows XP Pro. SP3 machine (NTFS).

Thank you in advance.

Hi ant,

It looks like this was a bug that was fixed in a newer version of SecureCRT. Do you see the same issue in SecureCRT 7.2.2?

I don't know. Is there a free trialware? I don't seem to see it on the web site and it requires an another account?

Hi ant,

You can download SecureCRT 7.2.2 from the following location, and a download account is required:
http://www.vandyke.com/download/securecrt/download.html
Once installed, you can evaluate SecureCRT 7.2.2 for 30 days.

Thanks. I thought it was the same account as this forum. Sheesh. Why have two different accounts for the same company?

Hi ant,

Not all individuals who use SecureCRT will need to download an installer (it may be installed by their system administrator), so download accounts are not needed by everyone.

Not all individuals who use SecureCRT will choose to use a public forum to request assistance.

Download accounts serve a different purpose than the account you use to access the public forums.
