Unable to store password?

I am evaluating SecureCRT for Mac for the first time. I created an SSH2 session and enter my username then connect it, then SecureCRT asked me for the password. I entered the password and check the "Store password" box, but when next time I connect my server, I am still asked for the password (the password box is blank).

Is it a bug or designed?

Thank you.

Hello bigbang,

Is 'Use Keychain' enabled in the 'Terminal / Advanced' category of SecureCRT's Global Options?

If it is, and you add your password to 'Keychain Access', what are the results?

Otherwise, if you disable 'Use Keychain', the credentials should be stored as part of the session's config.

Thank you! It works like a charm.

Hi all,

Please note that as of SecureCRT v7.0.x, the Use Keychain option is in the General category of Global Options.
