Pause before close on disconnect
Is there a way I can make SecureCRT pause or wait for lets say 20 secs before it closes the window on disconnnect?
Thanks |

Hi Qwertys21,
There is an option in the 'Terminal' category of the 'Session Options' for the session called 'Close on disconnect'. When this option is enable (as it is in this case), the SecureCRT window and/or tab will close as soon as the session is disconnected. If this option is disabled, the window/tab will stay until it is manually closed. Would disabling the 'Close on disconnect' option for the session help?

I think what the author wants is auto-close behavior with a delay, so that logout or session ending messages can be viewed, but exit still occurs with simply using shell command such as "exit". It saves a mouse click.
Code:

Hi MrC,
I have added this request to our features database. If this option is added to any future release of SecureCRT, we will let you know and make a post here. If anyone else would also like to see this feature also, please send me a message and reference this forum thread (2778).

Thats right. Thanks Teresa. That was what I actually needed, a delay before it closes on disconnect like MrC said.
Please also let me know when this feature is included. Thanks [x] Close on disconnect Close on disconnect delay, in seconds: [20] |

Hi Qwertys21,
We will post to this thread if this feature is added. I did receive an email for this request. I'm not certain if you had sent this. If so, we will also notify you via email besides making a post here if any future version has this option.
