Found it

Here is the link to the discussion on how to complete file transfer in iOS11 and iTunes 12.7.

It would be nice if I could just do a direct import via dropbox or email.

Hi nikroft,

The steps to import your configuration to an IOS device can be found in SecureCRT's FAQ.

Please review the topic "How do I import my sessions from SecureCRT for Windows, Mac, or Linux to SecureCRT for iOS?"

The import does require the use of iTunes to sync the data.

I have recorded your interest in importing independent of iTunes in our database of SecureCRT feature requests so that the product director can evaluate it for possible inclusion in a future release.

Should a version of SecureCRT become available with this feature, we will be sure to let you know.

iCloud Sync

Additionally, iCloud could be an option although it would not work for non macOS users. I would certainly love it.

Hi manfernandez,

Thanks for the feedback, I've updated the feature request with your suggestion.

We will be sure to post here if a version of SecureCRT that supports these options becomes available.

Issue seeing imported sessions from windows

I have purchased secure CRT for iOS. It seems to work fine however Iím having an issue importing my sessions from the windows secure CRT. I have tried this procedure on your website several times with three iOS devices. ( I have version 7.2 so I am using the zip approach ) All three imports work successfully on all three devices and when I launch the secure CRT on iOS it prompts me to import the file. I click yes and it appears to import successfully however when I launch the app on the iOS device I never see the imported sessions. Please tell me what Iím doing wrong

Hi all,

We do not have an official ruling from the developers yet, but once Tfalsetta's config was a little better organized, it did import successfully.

One of the common issues we see are nested Sessions folders, possibly from config migration or an attempt to merge in a colleague's sessions. The attachments show the default config structure for both Windows and Mac OSes. The Sessions folder is expected by SecureCRT to be a top-level subfolder to the config folder. It's why General / Configuration Paths category of Global Options points to the parent (ie: Config) and yet a new, default (empty) config displays the Sessions folder automatically in Session Manager/Connect dialog.

I'm happy to be able to reach out to let you know that SecureCRT 2.2 adds support for importing sessions from the desktop version of SecureCRT using iCloud. Version 2.2 is currently available in the App Store.
