script fails with line wrap

I have a script that looks for the part number in the 'show ver' of a cisco router. If any part of the text of the line that I need to search has wrapped to the next row, the search will not happen on that line and continue to look through the output. Neither the part number nor the search term is part oft the text that is wrapped to the next row.

Is there a way to fix this besides widening the window size?

Hello humbugg,

There are many unknowns to this issue. :-)

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

On what platform?

How are you capturing the data resulting from 'show ver'?

How are you "searching" the data?

We would probably need to see a copy of your script (with any sensitive data removed) in order to assist.

Please attach a copy of the script to an email sent to support@vandyke.com and reference "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #11825" in the subject line.
