Auto-login with change to enable mode

I'm sure this has been asked before but I haven't been able to find it.

I'm using the ability for SecureCRT to store un/pw on login and it then re-uses those creds for subsequent sessions. I'd like to be able to use the stored password to change into enable mode.

Here is an example of session options:

automate login: enabled
Send initial CR: disabled
ogin: <empty> (Uses the creds I stored on initial login?)
assword: <empty> (Uses the creds I stored on initial login?)

This works fine. I figured I'd use the same logic and add a couple of fields:

> en\r
assword:

It does not detect anything after the initial login.

Surely I must be missing something simple since it is storing the creds for each session I create but I'm not sure how to programmatically access them.

Cheers.

It seems like you've configured SecureCRT's Global Options to enable the "Cache session password" in the SSH2 category... is that what you've done?

And you're asking if that cached session password could be referenced within a Logon Actions' "Send" field?

If so, it's not currently possible because the aforementioned global option applies only to the authentication phase of the SSH2 protocol before the shell CLI ever exists.

I have added a feature request on your behalf for this functionality. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here. If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com with a subject of Please notify: Feature Request - Forum Thread #14274.
