Hi Dimitri,

Thanks for the question. SecureCRT 7.1.1 should have the ability to accomplish your goal when using the Xterm emulation.

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

Hi dimitri,

You will have to manually map the keys in older versions of SecureCRT.

Here is what SecureCRT 7.1.1 sends:
  • Ctrl+Left Arrow: "\033[1;5D"
  • Ctrl+Right Arrow: "\033[1;5C"
You can map keys in SecureCRT using the following steps:
  1. Press the Map a Key... button in the Terminal / Emulation / Mapped Keys category of the Session Options Dialog.
  2. Press the key/key combination to map.
  3. Enter the string to send to the remote.
Does this help?

The other option is to upgrade to SecureCRT 7.1.1.
