[Feature request] Save as new session

Dear Van Dyke Software

What if we could have this feature, like when you connect to a host using Alt+Q (quick connect) and then you realize you'd like to keep that host for future use, you can save it with "Save as a new session" (with hostname and login information preserved)?

Hello vysh,

Yes, I can see how that would be useful.

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database to provide a way to save ad hoc sessions. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #12011" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.

The ability to save sessions that were created using Quick Connect, the Connect bar, or the command line has been added to a pre-beta version of SecureCRT. If you would be interested in trying it, please email me at Maureen.Jett@vandyke.com.
