Use Activator as an SSH agent for other clients?

Can the SecureCRT Activator be used as an SSH agent for other SSH clients, or can SecureCRT use another SSH agent instead of the Activator?

I ask because I use SecureCRT most of the time, however, I occasionally use OpenSSH under Cygwin. I've just installed Git for Windows and it requires me to use Pageant for key management. Although I don't have many SSH keys, I'd rather not have to maintain copies of them in three different agents (SCRT's Activator, OpenSSH's ssh-agent, and Putty's Pageant) if I can avoid it.

I'm using SecureCRT 7.1.0 (x64 build 244) on Windows 7 64-bit.

Hi Matt.

The activator can really only be used by our products and
our products aren't able to use agents other than our own.
One thing you might consider if you need command line
clients like the ones OpenSSH provides is to try our
ClientPack product. The ClientPack consists of the command
line tools VSH, VCP and VSFTP, which are basically
equivalent to SSH SCP and SFTP, respectively. The
ClientPack can take advantage of Activator's agent
functionality.

Have you had a chance to try the ClientPack?

Thanks

JJH
