When you accept and save a host key, it gets stored in the "KnownHosts" folder, which can be found within your Config folder with a default installation. If you aren't able to accept and save a host key, the first thing I would do is to make sure that the Config folder or the KnownHosts folder is not Read Only.
Are you able to manually save a file in your KnownHosts folder?
