I was able to get it reattached but it wasn't clear on where or how. It would be nice if it would show up like when you move tabs between windows.

I noticed that the cmds you gave only work on bash.
what about tcsh, csh, or zsh?

underscore "_" not showing in 7.0.0(295)

the underscore character is not showing in the terminal.
I'm setup with Courier 12pt.
Emulation is xterm with ANSI color.

so the following
tac_pwd

is displayed as

6.7.0 (build 123) scroll with slection is slow

When going backwards or forwards when selecting text is slower then in previous releases. I remember being able to speed it up if I moved the mouse back and forth faster or something. Kind of a pain...

I don't think VPN has anything to do with the SecureCRT not timing out.
If a host disappears, with or without a VPN, the behavior is expected to the same.

The retest I did was without the VPN...

ssh session does not time out..

I was connected to a server that can only be reached through a vpn. I disconnect the vpn and the session never times out (ie the icon never transitions to disconnected) even after several minutes....

OSX Performance and ctrl-C lag...

Comparing ZOC6 and SecureCRT performance when connected the same way is vastly different.
ZOC6 is several times faster vs SecureCRT when displaying rolling output from lets say a large syslog...
