No error. Both SecureCRT.exe and SecureFX.exe just ignore the .lic files and present the standard "trial" acknowledgement screen.

At that point I can put in my license info for each in turn. But...

I personally find U3 annoying. I use a number of portable apps and do not have U3 installed. I think it would be great if there was a method for making SecureCRT portable outside of U3....
