Hi jack_george,

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

On what OS/platform?

Where did you import the modules?

version : 8.0.1
platform: windows
import them in python script

Hi Jack,

These are the default paths where SecureCRT looks for modules:

C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT
C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT\
C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT
C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT\PythonLibraries
C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT\SitePackages

The attached example script illustrates how you can import custom modules using custom paths.

Hi Jack,

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database for the ability to import and use python modules which use the crt object. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #12932" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.
